Austria is living through its third lockdown starting from the 26th of December and finishing on the 24th of January. After the government’s unsuccessful attempt to implement the system where you are allowed to leave quarantine one week earlier with a negative COVID-19 test, the government prolonged the lockdown until the 24th of January for everyone.

Unfortunately, entering Austria is now only allowed either for specific needs like business travel and transit journey or from the countries considered safe: Australia, Finland, Ireland, Iceland, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, South Korea, Uruguay, and the Vatican.

After the lockdown ends, we will open our doors for a more significant number of visitors, but don’t hesitate to contact or even visit us in case of emergency.
